At Bak's Martial Arts multiple certified black belts offer instructions in the disciplines of Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate, Kyusho Jitsu and Kobudo (weaponry). Training in these disciplines has proven to develop a person's self-defence capabilities, enhances a student's self confidence, improves their physical fitness and reinforces street awareness. Bak's Martial Arts does not allow or tolerate any head contact or aggressive behaviours from any students. All sparring activities are done with control and respect between participants. The dojo is equipped with 1800 square feet of high density safety rubber flooring / 300 square feet of Olympic matting / heavy bags / a variety of striking shields and target pads / 40 linear feet of mirrors. Classes are divided between children, teens and adults with discount rates for multiple family members. The dojo has separate men's and women's change rooms and washrooms. There is also a spectator seating area.
Bak's Martial Arts and its members have attained national and international recognition and credibility from many different martial arts groups and organizations. We strive to maintain a reputation of excellence.
